By downloading, installing, or using StudyMind ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
These Terms apply to all versions of StudyMind, including the Android and iOS mobile apps and any associated web services.
You must be at least 13 years old to use StudyMind. If you are under 18, you may only use the App with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
StudyMind is an AI-powered study assistant that helps students generate flashcards, summaries, transcripts, and study guides from lectures, images, and text. The App uses artificial intelligence to process content you provide and generate study materials.
StudyMind is provided "as is" for informational and educational purposes only. Generated study materials are AI-produced and may contain errors. Always verify important information against authoritative sources.
You may use certain features of StudyMind without creating an account (guest mode). To access features like cross-device sync and subscription benefits, you must register with a valid email address and password.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at studymindv1@hotmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
StudyMind offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions ("StudyMind Pro") are processed through Google Play Billing (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS).
You agree not to use StudyMind to:
You retain ownership of all content you create or submit to StudyMind (recordings, images, notes, flashcards). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your content for the sole purpose of providing the App's features to you.
We do not claim ownership of your study content and do not use your personal study materials for any purpose other than providing the service to you.
StudyMind uses AI to generate study materials from content you provide. You acknowledge that:
Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using StudyMind, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
StudyMind is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI-generated content, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or that any defects will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StudyMind and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, reliance on AI-generated content, loss of data, or any other matter related to the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of StudyMind shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StudyMind and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
You may stop using StudyMind and delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. For significant changes, we will notify you via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the applicable courts of the United States.
